Importing people from Salesforce

Click on “Lists” in the upper right hand corner of any screen, scroll down and click on “Import Entities from Salesforce” in the dropdown.

A list of people in the household that are available for import will be shown. Click on the individual that you would like to import and choose a category for that person.

  • Family Member – Most people that you import will be family members, and the remaining instructions assume that the person being imported is in this category.
  • Associated Person  – People who are associated with the family, but who should not be included in the family tree. The most common example here would be a non-family member Trustee
  • Service Provider – People who provide services to the family, such as attorneys and accountants.
  • Exclude – If you do not want this person to be imported AND you would like this person to no longer show up in the list of available Persons to import, choose this

After you have chosen the right category, click ‘Save’ and either click ‘Next’ to add additional details for the person or go back to the Import Entities list and choose the next person that you would like to import.
